Hello, I’m Barbara!
I am a PhD student with David Coomes and Jeannine Cavender-Bares and am based in the Department of Plant Sciences at the University of Cambridge.
My research focuses on the ecology, evolution and conservation of Stone Oaks (Lithocarpus). To dig into this, I draw from a diversity of datasets, such as natural history collections, botanic gardens and field surveys. I then use an array of tools including ecophysiological, phylogenetic and even some borrowed remote sensing approaches.
